Medical diagnosis
Redox point measurements, such as those for ketone bodies, lactate, and pyruvate, are essential for assessing a person’s energy metabolism and metabolic status. In hematology, measurements of Pyruvate Kinase (PK) and Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PDH) help diagnose various hematological disorders, while in spermatology, measurements of carnitine, fructose, and citrate assist in evaluating male fertility. These analyses, based on enzymatic and biochemical methods, are fundamental for early diagnosis, appropriate medical management, and a better understanding of metabolic, hematological, and reproductive health.
Our range of reagents dedicated to medical diagnostics is certified according to Directive 98/79/EC. It is also in the process of certification under the IVDR 2017/746 directive.
